Samuel Perlman was born and educated in New Rochelle NY.  A graduate of New York University, he majored in English and Psychology.   After graduation from undergraduate school, he graduated from New York University College of Dentistry.   He maintained a dental practice in New Rochelle for decades where he utlitilized his knowledge and training in hypnosis and is now retired from dentistry. 

Dr. Perlman studied clinical hypnosis extensively starting with 100 hours of comprehensive training at the Milton H. Ericson Society for Psychotherapy and Hypnosis in New York City.   He is certified by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and is a member also of the American Guild of Hypnotists.  Dr. Perlman has spoken about the uses of clinical hypnosis at study clubs, Einstein Medical School, and presented courses at major dental meetings.

Sam has been seeing hypnosis patients for 12 years.  His approach is one of passive suggestion, in which the patient is given suggestions and choice.  Because the suggestions are presented in a very special way, they are most likely to be heard and followed.  Fear of enclosed spaces limiting a future fireman from taking training, test anxiety limiting scores on tests such as SATs, inability to stay focust at the golf tee, and  smoking cessation are some of the areas which Sam has successfully used clinical hynosis to help his patients.  He has offices  in New Rochelle and Larchmont NY.   

He is now dedicated to the Smokeless with Hypnosis Program and helping those who want to be smoke-free.
